Good golly, sweet, sweet Molly!!! Molly is a very friendly dog with humans and other dogs once she gets comfortable in a new environment. She thought she found her forever home with a family but they said she didn't seem to bond very well with the husband/father and growled at the young son.  Molly's foster mom isn't sure if Molly was mistreated when she was younger or perhaps just has a preference for bonding with females but she sure does love to cuddle with her foster mom!  Her current foster mom has 4 other rescue dogs ranging in size from 5 -50 lbs. She loves to run in the backyard but also loves to relax by sitting on the deck and watching the birds fly by!  After all the fresh air, she'll stare you down until you let her snuggle with you on the couch for a while.  Her foster mom does know that one of her previous owners had 2 young children and so we think she is well behaved around young children as long as the children don't catch her off guard or otherwise scare her.Molly was found wandering the streets in a small town north of Sanford, NC. Her foster mom took her and in and got her checked out by a local vet. Per the vet, she is about 3 years old and spayed.  The vet also gave her a rabies shot. Molly was diagnosed with Eurlichea, Roundworms, Lyme and heartworms. She is currently being treated for the roundworms, Eurlichea and Lyme and we've started her on a plan to address the heartworms. She is a wonderfully sweet baby girl who deserves a loving, forever home.  Her foster mom does want potential adopters to understand that since she has been 'bounced' from home to home, she will need to find a forever family who understands and is able to give Molly plenty of time to get settled in and acclimated  with a new family.  Her foster mom also thinks a home with primarily females would be the ideal environment for her.
